Meet our Will writers
Currently there are no regulations for Will writers. They require no technical qualifications, no negligence insurance or any continuity arrangements to protect clients should they cease trading for whatever reason. This means anyone can set themselves up as a Will-writer, from your doctor to the barman at your local pub.
This is not the case at Goldsmith Williams. Our Will writers are qualified solicitors and specialise in all aspects of Will writing. Let us introduce them:
Linda Cummins: Head of Wills and Probate
Linda is a qualified Solicitor of 10 years and a qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner of 8 years. She is a member of SFE (Solicitors for the Elderly) and STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners). She specialises in all aspects of Wills, Probate, Trusts, Tax, Estate Planning , Elderly Client, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work with 20 years overall legal experience.
Moya Rogan: Solicitor
Moya is a qualified solicitor of 4 years and a member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) she is currently studying to become a qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner (T.E.P.) and specializes in the areas of Wills, IHT planning, Administration of estates, LPA’s and Court of Protection work, with 7 years overall legal experience.
Claire Pearce: Solicitor
Claire is a qualified Solicitor of over 7 years and has more than 10 years legal experience. She is studying to become a qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner with STEP.
